Choosing Right, Best Hair Color
A choice of color product will ultimately depend on your commitment to the upkeep, as well as the desired look you are trying to achieve. Semi-permanent color or glossing is ideal for color-shy customers who are looking for something that is low maintenance and will enhance natural color, tone and shine. Alternatively permanent color is a must for dramatic changes or covering grey, and also allows you to lighter than your natural shade, but this will in turn require regular upkeep. Quick ten-minute color and ammonia-free variants are still permanent color but just utilize a more up-to-date technology.
Choose right hair color for Seasons
When choosing your hair color don’t ignore your natural tone, work with it and be age-relevant. The more mature you are the richer your color should be and try not to opt for block colors which are very hard on the face and can age you drastically. You can soften colors around the face with fine, subtle low-lights to give a youthful freshness to your look. For younger skin, take the tone of the skin into account. It’s all about complimenting the skin tone rather than working against it. Your hair color should compliment your skin tone and eye color. If you opt for a drastic change, we would always advise trying on a wig in your chosen color first before undergoing the color change. As a general rule blonde hair looks best on fair skin with blue or green eyes, but stay away from blonde if your skin has a pink undertone. Red looks best of fair skin with a yellow skin tone or porcelain skin – do not go red if you have dark eyes. If you have olive or pale skin, such as Catherine Zeta Jones or Gemma Arterton, Brunette hair is a perfect fit.
Hair Coloring Chart
This is just a general guide to the sort of hair colors that will work well with certain natural hair colors. Always take your skin tones into consideration. If you are pinky or red, avoid red hair colors. Plum and burgundy tones tend to make the skin look yellow. It is always a mistake to go from very light to dark or vice-versa.
