Makeup Tips – Eye Shadow

Apply a cream eye shadow after the rouge. Powder eye-shadow is applied after powdering the face.

Eye shadow is mainly used for glamour and so looks good for late evening dates, the shade of the eye shadow should match or complement the colour of your eyes and your dress.

Before applying eye shadow, see that the eye lids are perfectly clean and free from grease. Then put some talcum powder over the eye shadow to preserve its colour.

To make your eyes look larger, you can use another trick. Apply white or any pale eye-shadow under your eyes and on the outside corners.

Earlier, green, blue and brown eye shadows were in vogue but now it is grey and black. White eye shadow is available in a tube. It is very useful. You can buy it in powder form too. Its application hides black spots below the eyes. Apply white shadow, between eyebrows and eyelids, can make the eyebrows look raised. Apply eye shadow upwards and outwards, but never downwards. Creamy and liquid eye shadows can be applied with the tips of fingers and a painting brush.

Brush is available with powder shadow. Make-up of the eye shadow should become light at upper portion so that it looks more attractive. Grey and brown eye shadow will suit you if you have small eyelids. Light green and light brown colours look nice on eyes of every woman. Never choose light shades of eye shadow if you put on spectacles. A shadow, matching the frame of your spectacles, will look excellent.
