Make-up Tips - Eyebrow Tweezing
Tweezers are very easy to work with. Tweeze your eyebrow hair immediately after your bath because at that time your skin pores will be open and plucking will be less painful.
Pluck the eyebrow hair in the direction of its growth and pull out one hair at a time.
Start with the hair between your brows and make the bridge of your nose absolutely clear of hair.
After you have done that, pluck the outer eyebrow hair from underneath the edges of the eyebrows.
Do not give an exaggerated curve to your eyebrows. Your eyebrows should be a little bit longer than your eyes.
Hold a pencil upright from the side of the nose, i.e., the inner side of the eye to determine from where the eyebrow should start.
Now move the pencil outward so that it crosses the outer corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should end.
After plucking your eyebrows, dab the area with a skin tonic, witch hazel or Vaseline, so that the skin does not get swollen or red.
Eyebrow tweezing should be done at least twice a week to keep away the stragglers.
