Cleansing Tips – Mouth
Your mouth should always feel sweet and tangy and automatically your breath will be fragrant.
Your teeth and gums should always be clean. Sunflower seeds contain a large amount of Vitamin A; phosphorus fluoride and calcium can also control bleeding gums and strengthen the teeth.
- Rose water, used as a mouth wash, cleans your mouth and lends fragrance.
- A few drops of spirits of peppermint in a glass of water make an excellent and refreshing mouth wash.
- Lastly, eat foods rich in chlorophyll – a green pigment found in plants. Parsley and tops of beets, turnips and radishes contain chlorophyll in large amounts. Mix them in vegetable juices.
- Apple juice, with its natural acids, is a very effective mouth wash.
- Neem is full of chlorophyll and its twigs are very effective for cleaning the mouth if used as a brush.
- For chapped lips mix 2 tablespoons of honey to a few drops of rose water. Apply on lips before retiring at night.
